#LAS60 open day in Battersea Park

In 2025 London Ambulance Service is celebrating the last 60 years of life-saving public service in London.

To mark the occasion, we are inviting you to a special open day in Battersea Park where you’ll get to meet our teams and learn some vital life-saving skills.

When: Wednesday 6 August, 11am-4pm

Where: Millennium Sports Arena, Carriage Drive East, London, SW11 4NJ (view in Google Maps)

What can I expect at the event?

  • Learn CPR, how to recognise cardiac arrest and use a defibrillator
  • Test your CPR skills against others in a race against the ambulance
  • Learn how to help someone who is choking or bleeding
  • Ask those first aid questions you’ve always wanted answered
  • Meet frontline ambulance teams and see some historic ambulances
