London Ambulance Service is governed by a Trust Board which meets quarterly in public to oversee the organisation’s strategic direction, performance and delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
The Trust Board is made up of Executive and Non-Executive Directors, led by the Chair and Chief Executive. The Board currently includes:
- one Chair
- seven Non-Executive Directors
- one Associate Non-Executive Director
- Executive Directors responsible for operational, clinical, financial and corporate leadership
Together, the Board provides leadership, accountability and oversight across all areas of the Service.
The Board is responsible for:
- setting the strategic vision and priorities for the organisation
- overseeing quality, safety and operational performance
- ensuring effective governance and financial stewardship
- promoting an inclusive and positive organisational culture
- ensuring the Service meets the needs of patients, staff and the communities we serve
The Executive Team is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the organisation.
