145 members of staff were on duty yesterday (Sunday 28 August) to provide medical help at Notting Hill Carnival.
In total, 253 people required medical treatment and 32 patients were taken to hospital.
Today (Monday 29 August) 160 staff will be on duty together with hundreds of St John Ambulance volunteers. The Service team includes staff trained to work in large crowds, cycle responders, ambulance crews and control room staff.
Anyone with minor injuries or illnesses are urged to make their own way to one of the treatment centres. This will be the quickest way to get medical help.
