“We were called at 8.30am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision on Plough Rd, Clapham, involving a bus and a lorry.
“We sent six ambulance crews, two patient transport service vehicles, five managers, the Hazardous Area Response Team and a doctor to the scene.
“Fifteen patients were treated at the scene and taken to hospital. Three patients were taken as a priority – a 27-year-old and a 31-year-old woman to St George’s Hospital, and a 45-year-old man to Chelsea and Westminster.
“Twelve patients were also taken to hospital with minor injuries – six to Chelsea and Westminster, four to St Thomas’ and two to Charing Cross.
“A number of other patients were treated at the scene but were not taken to hospital.”
