Chief Executive Peter Bradley said:
“Today, we join the people of London in remembering the events of 7 July, and our thoughts are with the families and friends who lost loved ones and those who were injured that day.
“We look back on what happened last July with a sense of both pride and sadness. Pride in the way our staff, the other emergency services, partner agencies and Londoners responded in the wake of those tragic events, and sadness for the innocent people who were injured and who lost their lives.
“It was a day we all hoped would never happen, but for our staff who treated and cared for the injured and dying, it is a day that will be etched in their memories forever.”
