Performance against targets

Strategic plans

Our strategic plan outlines where we want to be in 2013, the year after the capital has hosted the Olympic Games. It will effectively enable us to provide Londoners with an ambulance service for the future. It sees us having moved away from a 'one-size-fits-all' service, to one that ensures all our patients receive care that is tailored to their needs.

Care Quality Commission (CQC) annual healthcheck

One of the key measures of our performance comes through the Care Quality Commission’s annual health check, which assesses and rates the performance of every NHS trust in England during each financial year.

As part of the annual health check the Care Quality Commission asks us to assess our performance against the Government’s 24 core standards for better health. We then have to declare this information publicly.
