Statement - Road traffic collision on Ladbroke Grove

Tactical Commander for the Ladbroke Grove bus collision, Paul Cook, said:

“We were called at 11.51am to reports of a road traffic collision at Ladbroke Grove, W10.

“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including four ambulance crews, a single responder in a car, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. The first of our medics arrived in under six minutes of the call coming into the control room.

“We treated 14 patients at the scene and took 13 to hospital. Ten had minor injuries and three had more serious head, leg and arm injuries.

“Eight patients were taken to St Mary’s, three patients were taken to Chelsea and Westminster and two patients with minor injuries were taken to St Thomas’.
