Service spokesperson:
“We were called at 11.32am today (14 June) to
reports of a fire on Strand, WC2.
“We dispatched an ambulance crew, a single
responder in a car, a duty manager and five hazardous area response
team units.
“Our staff have treated a man for a hand
injury and taken him to St Thomas’ Hospital.
“Staff have also treated a man for minor burns
and taken him to Soho NHS Walk-in Centre.
“There are currently no reports of any other
patients.”
