Service spokesperson:
“We can confirm that we were called at 2.02pm
today (28 June) to reports of a fire on Abbey Street, SE1.
“We sent a duty manager, an ambulance crew and
two hazardous area response team units.
“Our staff treated a woman on the
scene for minor smoke inhalation, but the patient was not taken to
hospital.”
