We are supporting ‘Step
into the NHS 2011 – 2012’, a competition aimed at years 8 and
9, encouraging students to think about the range of career
opportunities in the NHS. It is designed to help
students develop their job-seeking skills and encourage them
make informed decisions about their important GCSE and diploma
choices.
Working individually, or in groups of up to
four, students must promote a specific career in the NHS by
creating a range of materials which appeal to students in their age
group. For the job they have chosen they need to
produce:
- a job advertisement, and
- either a CV of the ideal candidate, or a job
description for the role.
How to take part in the competition
If you are a school who would like to take part in this
competition, please visit the
Step
