In London, one person every hour is admitted to hospital
suffering from a
stroke – a type of brain injury caused by reduced blood flow to
the brain.
We organised an event on 24 May
2011 for the general public to illustrate how we’ve
helped to increase the recovery rate of stroke patients across the
capital.
Speakers included Medical Director Dr Fionna
Moore and Assistant Medical Director Neil Thomson. There’ll also be
a chance to talk to our experts and hear some of our patient
survival stories.
