
We have a wide-ranging public education programme, ranging from
teaching children how to call 999 and young
people about the dangers of carrying knives, to explaining the
signs and symptoms of a stroke to groups of older
people.
We organised an event on 12 October
2011 for our members the general public
to illustrate the work we're doing to educate the public
across the capital about ways they can improve health in their
community and some of the issues we face as an organisation.
Speakers included our Head of Patient and
Public Involvement Margaret Vander and some of our community
involvement officers. The presentation slides from the event are
