The symptoms of a transient ischaemic attack (TIA) are the same
as for a stroke, but they only last between a few minutes
to a few hours, before completely disappearing. TIAs are also known
as 'mini-strokes'.
If you have a TIA, it can be can be a serious
warning sign that there is a problem with the blood supply to your
brain so you should never ignore it.
If you suffer a TIA, the treatment you receive
will be treatment similar to the treatment for a
stroke, depending on the cause of the TIA.
