We believe that Londoners have an important role in influencing our developments and helping us to provide the best possible care for our patients. Because we cover the whole of London, we are in a unique position to work with patients and members of the public from many different areas and backgrounds.

  • Community events
We attend a number of events throughout the year where you will get a chance to find out about the healthcare options available in your area and to learn important life-saving skills.

  • Community Involvement Officers
Helping to find the best way for people to get the right care is a top priority for community involvement officers.  There are currently seven in post – based at Barnehurst, Croydon, Chase Farm, Bromley, Greenwich, Friern Barnet and Camden and Islington complexes – with plans to introduce more.

Each has different priorities depending on the make-up of the community they work in; however, they all play a vital role in public education and raising awareness of the Service.
