Performance ratings 2008/09
One of the key measures of our performance
comes through the
Care Quality Comission’s annual health check, which assesses
and rates the performance of every NHS trust in England during each
financial year.
In 2008/9 we received ratings of
‘excellent' for our use of resources and 'fair' for
our quality of services; more details can be read in
the news releases below:
The results of the health check are published in October each
year. Further details about
our annual healthcheck 2008/9 can be found on the Care Quality
Commission (CQC) website.
Our declaration
As part of the annual health check the Care
Quality Commission asks us to assess our performance against the
Government’s 24 core standards for better health. We then have to
declare this information publicly.
